For Christmas 2025 our fund provided USD15,607 for two Christmas Gift programs in Myanmar.

1. Chin State Christmas Gift Program
1,237 children (pre-school, Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3 and our scholarship students) received a gift bag ahead of Christmas.
Each gift bag contained essential items like a T-shirt, a towel, socks, toothbrush/toothpaste, soap, pens/pencils/sharpener, etc. or a drawing book, crayons, balloons, candies, playdough, depending on the age of the children.
Local partners and project teachers (all volunteers) packed the bags and assisted with the distribution.
Please visit section Photo Gallery and look at the album titled "2025 Christmas Gifts - Chin State".

2. Children’s Christmas Parties in different locations in Myanmar
1732 children in 12 different villages/areas in Myanmar were treated to a Christmas Party by a group of caring volunteers. There was singing and games and each child received a meal (cooked by the volunteers) and in most locations also small presents. The presents were snacks, juice, towels, water bottles, soap, etc. Based on the photos, the meals prepared by the volunteers were the highlight of the parties.
Please visit section Photo Gallery and look at the album titled "2025 Christmas Parties - Myanmar".

Please note:

All 2969 children who were included in the two programs in Myanmar live in poverty, are  civil war or earthquake victims. We believe the pictures in the two albums will show you how much happiness a USD11 gift bag or a meal and small gift for about USD1.30 each can bring a needy child.

Our heartfelt thanks to our Friends and Donors who helped us with funds to support these 2 gift programs and to all volunteers in Myanmar who provided their time and spared no effort to execute these programs successfully to give the children a memorable Christmas.

Sri Lanka Christmas Gift Program 2024
150 children, received a backpack, uniform, a bottle for water and items essential to attend pre-school. This is important not just for the children’s education but also because they get one warm meal on each school day. There is substantial poverty in Sri Lanka and many parents cannot afford food for their children and themselves, nor the items necessary for their children to attend pre-school and school.
We would like to say “Thank you” to the volunteers who bought the gift items and arranged the distribution at the three pre-schools.
